On August 26, Biotechgate will launch a new version of the platform, bringing a refreshed user experience, new result views, richer management profiles and AI-guided workflows into one updated interface. The aim is straightforward: make it easier for life sciences business development and licensing teams to move from search to insight to action with less friction.
The new version combines the latest in AI with a comprehensive structured data set, including companies, assets, deals, clinical trials, management contacts, financing activity and partnering interests. This gives users new ways to search, review and act on that information.
A More Flexible Way to Review Results
One of the most visible changes is a new table view.
Users can now switch between list and table formats depending on the task at hand, making it easier to scan larger result sets, compare companies or assets and work through data in a more structured way.
The wider interface has also been refreshed, with more intuitive workflows designed to reduce the number of steps needed to reach relevant information.
Accessible Management Details and Richer Contact Information
The new Biotechgate version also expands the information available on company management teams – accessible throughout the platform.
Management profiles include significantly more contact details, helping users move more directly from researching a company or opportunity to identifying the appropriate person for outreach.
For BD&L teams building target lists, researching potential partners or preparing for outreach, this creates a closer connection between intelligence and the next step in the workflow.
AI-Guided Search and Research
AI-guided workflows are another major part of the new version.
Within BD&L Intelligence – AI Guided Search, users can ask natural-language questions and turn them into structured searches across companies, assets, deals, clinical trials and contacts. For example, rather than manually applying a series of filters, a user can describe the type of licensing opportunity or company they are looking for and review the resulting structured dataset.
Alongside this, Research & Forecasts – AI Assistant enables users to ask questions across curated analyst reports and forecast models and retrieve relevant, source-based insights.

Launching on August 26
The new version of Biotechgate launches officially on Wednesday, August 26. Subscribers have already been able to explore the platform through the Beta portal ahead of the transition.
Together, the redesigned interface, flexible result views, expanded management information and AI-guided workflows are intended to make everyday research and partnering tasks faster and more intuitive, all while grounded in Biotechgate’s human-curated life sciences data.
