Men and Women Reverse Aging Process to Boost Career
By: PR Newswire Association LLC. - 07 Oct 2015Back to overview list

LONDON, October 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

New survey reveals Britons seek anti-aging treatments to stay competitive in work, reward themselves and maintain youthfulness

New research released today indicates that nearly a third of UK adults have had aesthetic treatment for a change in job or career, underlining that youthfulness still equates to success in work for many people. [1]

Survey results also highlighted that 1 in 5 women in the UK have dermal fillers to turn the clock back and retain their beauty while surprisingly, almost 40% of respondents, aged 25-44, said they would have aesthetic treatment if their partner wanted them to.[1]

This survey was commissioned by Intraline Medical Aesthetics, a new and innovative company who today launch their flagship Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal filler products, Intraline® One and Intraline® Two, in the UK.

The anti-aging and restorative products are designed to suit each individual's aesthetic needs and are manufactured using the finest ingredients for long-lasting natural results. The fillers can be used for everything from wrinkle reduction to contouring and lip enhancement with the benefit of being completely reversible, providing long lasting beautiful results without committing to going 'under the knife' or having a permanent treatment.

"I am delighted that Intraline products are now available in the UK, where the aesthetics industry continues to grow from strength to strength. At Intraline, we pride ourselves on bringing a fresh perspective and continual innovation to aesthetic treatments and are committed to providing safe and quality products with fantastic results," commented Reece Tomlinson, CEO, Intraline Medical Aesthetics.

Until now, 90% of all aesthetic procedures have been carried out on women;[2] however Intraline's research found that UK men are threatening to buck the trend with 25% of survey respondents having dermal fillers to reward themselves.[1] Weddings were identified as a key milestone with 1 in 25 women undergoing treatment to look their best on their big day and 10% having a procedure for a significant birthday.[1]

Intraline champions safety standards in the aesthetics industry, and has recently partnered with Derma Medical, a state of the art aesthetic training provider, based in the Royal College of Surgeons. This partnership will ensure that UK practitioners can access the latest training before using Intraline's products.

Dr Zack Ally, a pioneering physician who leads the Derma Medical team said, "Intraline's dermal fillers are extremely pure in composition and the unique proprietary spherification technology ensures they have some of the highest molecular densities of any product on the market today. It is exciting to use a new and effective product, produced by a company who truly value the importance of safety and comprehensive training in aesthetic treatments."

The dermal fillers are the first of Intraline's treatments to launch in the UK with an expanding product range coming soon. Intraline's proprietary products are currently available in Canada, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Korea, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.

Intraline® One and Intraline® Two

Intraline is committed to bringing quality medical aesthetic products to market, in an environmentally responsible way. Intraline® One and Intraline® Two are high quality Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal fillers; soft, injectable substances that are designed to improve the visible signs of ageing by replacing lost fat and filling out the space below wrinkles, fine lines and cheek hollows.

They integrate themselves naturally into the injected tissue, allowing oxygen and hormones to easily pass through them. As time goes on, they are naturally broken down and absorbed by the body.

Intraline's dermal fillers are effective. They use unique proprietary spherification technology to smooth HA's traditionally rhomboid molecular structure. This unique technology ensures Intraline's dermal fillers have some of the highest molecular densities of any product on the market today. Intraline's dermal fillers are extremely pure in chemical composition. The dermal fillers contain a premium concentration (20mg/ml) of natural medical grade HA. They use less butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) than competitors for cross-linking to maintain purity and not compromise results.

Intraline's HA is environmentally responsible. Our products are cruelty free and are never animal-derived. Our HA is manufactured using a bacterial fermentation process.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is the skin's key tool in retaining water, and its presence in the skin creates volume and elasticity. HA is a naturally occurring sugar found in virtually all species in the animal kingdom and in every tissue of the human body.

The skin has three layers: the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous. HA is naturally found throughout all three layers of the skin. However, as people age, skin cells renew themselves at a slower rate, providing less HA, collagen and elastin, which cause the skin to thin. In combination with external elements such as sun exposure, gravity, repetitive movement, diet and stress, the skin loses volume, sags and develops fine lines. HA based fillers work to repair this damage by temporarily adding HA to the skin, restoring volume and filling in fine lines, wrinkles and hollows.
