OTTAWA, July 3, 2015 /CNW/ - BioTalent Canada congratulates its Chair of the Board of Directors, François Schubert, who was appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada on Canada Day, July 1, 2015. The Order of Canada, one of Canada's highest civilian honours, recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation. Mr. Schubert was recognized for his contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical care in hospital pharmacies, and for his leadership in this field. Recently retired as the General Manager and Chief Administrative Officer at The Research Institute-McGill University Health Centre and with more than 30 years of national and international experience in academia, research, biotechnology and Big pharma, Mr. Schubert has a lifetime of dedication and commitment to the advancement of biotechnology and the health sector. Having been named to the BioTalent Canada Board of Directors in 2008, Mr. Schubert has served as Chair of the Board since 2012.
