AdvoCare Foundation And Rich Froning Challenge DFW To Get Fit For A Good Cause While Raising Funds For Kids In Need At #GenerationFit

DALLAS, Jan. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The AdvoCare Foundation, which focuses on ending childhood obesity and encouraging kids to live healthy lives, has challenged the public to raise awareness by taking part in its inaugural #GenerationFit workout event on February 3. Featuring four-time CrossFit® Games Champion Rich Froning, the event will take place during the 25th Anniversary Celebration at AdvoCare's annual National Success School. Participants, including AdvoCare founding family members, Allison Levy, President of the AdvoCare Foundation Board of Directors and Executive Vice President at AdvoCare, and hundreds of AdvoCare Distributors, will power through Froning's special workout while helping the AdvoCare Foundation ensure the next generation is the fittest generation.

"#GenerationFit offers a chance to take the first step with family and friends and incorporate fitness into a healthy lifestyle," said Froning. The workout will begin at 6:15 a.m. with a friendly warm-up game of "Simon Says." Those interested in participating can register, make a donation or create a team by visiting www.advocarefoundation.org/generationfit. Doors will open at 5:45 a.m. A minimum donation of $25 is required to participate, and those who meet designated giving levels will receive special incentives, including AdvoCare Foundation swag. Giving levels include:

  • $25 = Participation in the #GenerationFit workout event with Rich Froning
  • $35 = Participation in the event + an exclusive #GenerationFit shirt
  • $125 = Previous benefits + an exclusive #GenerationFit beanie
  • $525 = Previous benefits + an AdvoCare backpack filled with AdvoCare products
  • $2,500 = The VIP Experience: Previous benefits + A special area to work out and breakfast with Rich Froning. Donors who give (or raise) $2,500 will receive also Founders Circle benefits.

Proceeds from #GenerationFit will help the AdvoCare Foundation continue to support organizations across the country whose work focuses on helping children have access to nutritious food, health and wellness education, and activity programming in the communities that need it most. Beneficiaries for the 2017-2018 year include: Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, LA's Best (Los Angeles), Vetri Community Partnership (Philadelphia), REAL School Gardens (Dallas), C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Atlanta, YMCA (Dallas).
