This company database is a comprehensive information platform comprising profiles of companies and institutes in the life sciences field. The goal of this database is to provide an extensive overview on the life sciences area and detailed information on companies which are active in this industry.
 
Who is the initiator of the database?
The development of the company databases started with the Swiss Life Sciences Database that was initiated by Venture Valuation.

On what kinds of companies does the database provide information?
This information platform comprises detailed information on companies which are directly involved in or at least related to the life Sciences industry with a main focus on biotechnology and medical technology companies.
 
What categories are used for the database?
There are various criteria used for the categorization of the companies, such as sector, subsector, target diseases, business model, number of employees etc. Here you find a list with definitions of most criteria used for the categorization.
 
How can I find a company according to specific criteria?
You have the possibility to either look for companies using the simple search form or to carry out an advanced search comprising nine different search criteria.
Please note: The relationship between the all criteria is an "AND-linkage". This means that companies shown on the result list have to meet all search requirements.
